Badgley Mischka Women's Octavia Sandal
I purchased the black and gold Octavia sandal for a Black tie Air Force function and I was the envy of the wives. I don't know what it is about these two designers but they know women's feet and how to accent them in the best way possible. Excellent quality and design makes for sexy shoes.
Mulberry Show Report
THIS season, where other designers have been inspired by the great outdoors and rural themes, today Emma Hill referenced a different kind of wilderness: the jungle.
As The Bare Necessities got our toes tapping, the clothes that came down the runway were a clever contradiction to the song’s abstemious message: pure OTT opulence, inspired by “The Valley of the Dolls, naughty English royalty, Hollywood theatricals and over-the-top animal prints”.
There was more than a hint of irony to the collection that saw saturated colour, intense prints, luxe furs, ghetto gold jewellery and an outlandish take on leopard print come down the catwalk, which was guarded by giant glittery panthers.
It was the coats in the collection that really won us over. A camel wool trench with a hood and separate yoke and shiny gold hardware and a demure grey fur coat towards the end of the show were our particular favourites.
Accessories-wise, the Alexa is back – covered in shamelessly garish purple leopard. And a pair of violet, gold-studded shoe boots caught our eye. There’s plenty here for new and old members of the Mulberry fan club.

Best Dressed Of The Week
MIRANDA KERR has been on her home turf in Sydney this week, promoting David Jones, the Australian department store for which she is the face. Lace dresses were on her style agenda for her appearances - she wore two by Aussie brand Lover, one red and the other white, both gorgeous.
SEE THE WEEK'S BEST DRESSED PEOPLE
Emma Stone has been out and about PR-ing her new film, Crazy, Stupid, Love again this week, wearing an Azzaro dress and skyscraper heels by celebrity favourite Brian Atwood for The Late Show With David Letterman, and - for Good Morning America - she wore a slate grey dress with scarlet suede heels.
Elsewhere, Kate Moss showed us how to do seaside chic in a fringed suede dress in Saint-Tropez; George Lamb wore pieces from his own A.Sauvage collection at the premiere of The Devil's Double in London, where Zara Martin was working the spot trend; and, in LA, Leslie Mann wore Marchesa, Olivia Wilde chose Antonio Berardi and Sandra Bullock was in Lanvin for the premiere of The Change-Up.
